Arsenal's terrible run with severe compact fractures continues. Hope the lad Ramsey recovers and can still have a pro career. I notice Eduardo seems to struggle to get a game since his.

Walk it off.
Hope he makes a full recovery, it's not nice seeing injuries like this

yeah Aaron is going to be class if he can recover from this injury. Also felt for the tackler Ryan Shawcross who walked off in tears, broke a players leg and got a england call up all in one day
Well it's been a hell of a ride with amazing highs *remembers the time when k-brad got his tax back + interest* and terrifying lows *ponders reps criminal past coming back to haunt him*

I hope he makes a full recovery. Provided they don't rush him back I doubt it will inhibit him physically in future, any problems are more likely to be mental (an aspect which is a big part of sports admittedly); I've seen a number of guys come back from very bad leg breaks to have strong careers, albeit other sports than soccer (which I don't see much of).

very unfortunate....never like to see injuries like that in sport. Watching the game you could tell it wasn't going to be good as soon as they collided....
Looks like it was a clean break, lucky the socks were covering the leg otherwise would've been even worse to see it :S
Yeeow! Nasty. Though better to break a fib/tib, than tear a ligament in the ankle or knee. Bones heal. Best of luck to the kid, he should recover and have a good career. Ciss'e broke both legs at different times, one for Liverpool and the other for France I think. He's still going strong, though he may have never reached his full potential.

True. he fractured both apparently although early reports suggest its not a terrible as it could be and they expect him to playing again within the year!
I was watching the Liverpool game vs. Blackburn when he did the first one. Never looked the part for LFC after that, some would say before hand too!
I once played in game where a fella dislocated his knee. I went green when I saw the state of him! lol

best one I've seen was at my regular sat arvo judo training session where a mate of mine (green belt) out his arm out to stop himself getting thrown by a much bigger guy.. Who then kinda rolled onto him and my mate's elbow fully dislocated backwards
I saw it from about 2 metres away lol...
Poor bastard just lay there screaming in agony for about 25 mins before the ambos showed up
to make it worse fit him they cut his $300 Mizuno Judo suit off him!!!

I did that last season, luckily it popped back in with a little help. Since found out my kneecaps are off centre & it's likely to happen again.
I still played in finals the next week tho....

Wasn't a red card, watched it a few time, if anything ramesey went in harder and was tackeling. i know he got his leg broken but seriouslly if he didnt break his leg their was nothing in it and if anything ramsey would have got the card. +rep for ramesy though for going in hard ha,
