Been playing this non stop since release and it is probably the best game i've played since Uncharted 2, excellent atmosphere and setting, great sound and some neat visuals (albeit some low res textures) , much better shooting than it's predecessor but it has lost some of the tension and paranoia because you are no longer weak,in fact i feel too overpowered but still great, not into the mp though.

Depends on if you enjoyed the first or not because it is really more of the same in which case the original would be well worth getting if you haven't played it , if you have then Bioshock 2 is a good game with an around 10 hour storyline that has interesting narrative but not as deep or interesting as the first, good to mid graphics, great sound, brilliant atmosphere and engaging gameplay but the shooting is in no way as fine or precise as say MW2 and the game is slow paced with outbursts of action, still i would say it is well worth it for the overall experience and the experimenting of killing foes in multiple ways is always a plus lol.

Yeh The Drill you get when its fully upgraded is really quite over powered. i played it for 4-5 hours and finished it though not very long at all! i play on med and got through it was to fast.
was really dissapointed in the ending wont spill any spoilers but it sucks. Its good fun in a way but Theres so much more i think they could have done with it. the onlines preaty fun sorta a mw2 set up with the ranking system and most game modes are the same like cap the little sisters and shit like that.
As u might have seen i didnt go through it for the trophys this time but just for fun but managed to get heeps of them and get all the little sisters. its really easy to kill big daddys now your heaps powerfull! im looking to sell this in a month and gonnna get bfbc2.
Hope that gives you a bit of a sum up and no pc and ps3 cant be paired just didnt read it lol....

I played the demo of the first one and felt the controls were too clunky when it came to encounters, especially when they were in your face.
Has the controls been smoothen for this?
I know the story of the first and how it ends despite not playing it so I'll understand the premise.
I just want a new game to play. Assassin's Creed 2 was a big disappointment for me and I dont wanna be wasting time with RPG elements.

Control in close encounters is still clunky, you can adjust it but i just melee up close so yeah controls aren't the smoothest and it feels more heavy due to you character as well, think KZ2,BFBC control.

I'm in the process of writing a full review for the review shop. I will hopefully have it up within the next few days. For now I will say that I really enjoyed it and Perry must have fucking rushed hardcore because my playthrough took a lot longer (I also ended up with every singleplayer trophy other then the hard playthrough trophy).

AC2 is awesome.
I bought Bioshock 1 of ebay the other day still waiting for it to arrive.
I want to understand the story before playing the second one.
Looking forward to it though.

Just noticed that if you set brightness at 7 points from minimum and unlock the framerate the game plays a lot better and looks more contrasty as well like the 360 version.

I've been enjoying this heaps so far. Not as freaky as the first game.
I think I might be close to finishing it. My choice weapon has been the rivet gun.
EDIT: Now I've completed it. So glad I bought this I thought it was absolutely brilliant.
Was very pleased and happy with the ending I recieved. Very sweet.

So I have 3 trophies left in this game. Finish the game on hard (half way there), reach rank 30 online and obviously reach rank 40. I'm getting a bit bored playing Bioshock 2 online without any friends to play with, so I was wondering if anybody is keen to play some online. considering I need to sink another 15 hours into it lol.
