Release of the game
On November 10, 2009, Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 will strike worldwide. The most-anticipated game of the year and the sequel to the best-selling first-person action game of all time, Call of duty Modern Warfare

single-player experience
The campaign is intense. You'll instantly get a sense of just how far the improved Graphics engine has come when you're thrown into the streets of Rio de Janeiro's Favela, ice-capped mountains of Kazakhstan, the dusty roads of Afghanistan, and other unexpected locale areas.
The story is so over the top that you'll often find yourself catching your breath after a mission I was able to catch the plot of the game and enjoy the characters and follow the twists, But then again, I've also been dedicated to nothing but Modern Warfare 2 for about 12 hours of game-play for the Veteran setting which is the hardest.
In the 3rd level there were a few problems on what Rating the game should be because a lot of civilians were killed in a matter of minutes and that was the objective of the level just go kill people Civilians in an airport. It was almost banned from the game but they put it as a setting to ask you if you wanted to play the level that might offend you and others watching.


Multi-Player
In the Multi player mode is a online setting witch you play with others and play on different maps and game modes like domination and team death match, and the amount of in-game chatter from your team is fantastic. It isn't often in games that you'll hear your squad call out specific areas on the map and have it mean anything. When your friend shouts, "Two tangos behind the yellow station wagon!" you'll actually see two enemies behind a yellow station wagon.
It's a pretty engaging experience. The online is a better experience than the first Modern Warfare. You can play with all your friends that have a ps3 and just join there game without a hesitation. In the multiplayer mode you can make Classes of guns with a set of both new and returning weapons you can put perks in your classes when you level up you can get better ones like fast reload. There is more kill streak options so if you get 6 kills in a row you can get a UAV Nuke Missile and lots more!
This multiplayer is easily one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played and players at every skill level can contribute to their team in some unique way the sheer amount of content. You wll be coming back again and again.




Spec ops
Spec Ops mode is going to surprise a lot of gamers. It's addictive and surprisingly entertaining. It's longer than single-player mode, is a huge upgrade from the previously unlockable Arcade Mode in the first Modern Warfare, and some of the missions will have players going back over and over again well after all 69 stars are earned. . In Spec Ops The co-op only AC-130 mission, is one of the biggest highlights of the entire Modern Warfare 2 package. One player mans the gunship on the AC-130 while the other sneaks behind enemy lines on foot. The need for co-op play here is tremendous. you will be pulled in by Spec Ops, and when it's all Done you'll be begging for more.



Graphics and improvements
On the Graphics side of things, Modern Warfare 2 is a step up over Call of Duty 4 and World at War, with stronger effects in the environments, weather effects, destructible objects, and the overall sense of action and chaos that comes with so many visual improvements. There's a huge level of smoke and effects to be seen, electrical equipment and cars explode


The issues (Fixed now)
The single-player campaign has its issues. For starters, it's short. I've been playing Call of Duty 4 steadily since its release, and my first completion of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign came in at just under five hours on regular difficulty. Playing through on hardened will add another hour and a half onto that. Modern Warfare 2 is definitely more chaotic this time around.
Also there were problems with the play station 3 version of the game had troubles with the unlocking trophies through the game. It was quickly fixed due to infinity ward got their act together. Also the invite system on the online had its troubles with not enabling people to join your party.





Effects
In previous Call of Duty offerings you'd get damaged, the screen would start to shade red, and you'd be required to seek cover before your vision returned to normal. Modern Warfare 2 employs a new system, actually having a thicker blood layer added to up the realism. There's been some discussion on whether the splatter is too distracting, and in my experience with the game it's far from an issue. You'll be able to take more hits on easier difficulty settings

As the compony runs along with so many great titles to their name Call of duty modern warfare is one of the Top games for the Xbox and the play station selling over 13 million copies from its release in November 2007 in may 2009
