Thanks for setting up and keep em going I pick this game up every week still loving it.

I have a beautiful setup for the McLaren F1 if anyone wants it. Tune down to N500 and Career mode premium race against N1000s with the payout being 240k for 12-20 minutes work. If you get the clean race bonus with the handicap.

Super formula wasn't enjoyable for me. I prefer the Red Bull.

Could not find a tune that was nice to drive.
Hey Ova how you going mate, I'll grab the tune for the Mclaren I find tuning a bit tedious and would rather just drive but its all so critical to dial the tune in as you all know. Cheers

I like your race ideas Smajs... I've been hoping that we could get enough people from here together to do a modern day Le Mans mini endurance race.
Gr. 1 cars, bop, all race tyre compounds allowed, tyre wear x10, fuel use x10 and 20 laps of Le Mans.
    What do you think?

Hecandangle would be all over that like white on rice if you could run it at a time that suits him.

I remember those AUF mini endurance nights we used to have. And the hilarious misfortunes that they produced. Muddy losing connection at the very end when he had a huge lead on everyone else. And I think Loco lost one because of a toilet break.

Barra getting bored and driving in the opposite direction.

    They were great nights.

We did 12 lap races last year, pit stops for fuel and tyre wear, was good fun. Setting up max weight and power to even the cars kept the races closer than BOP too which was interesting.

Also here are some of my latest helmet creations, hella fun creating in this game, made way too many decals lately.

Those endurance races were fantastic except that one time when the internet died I’d be happy to try a Le Mans style race.
@ Elmo for the wheels I reckon they are worth 1-2 secs a lap difference & you can buy a stand. I bought the wheel stand pro that folds away after use but typically don’t use the wheel much anymore as controller is just easier

I probably can’t do Fridays, but then I’m very much on the casual end of the spectrum (don’t have time to prepare for races with tuning/testing, etc.), so any race where I can’t just blow in and blow out probably isn’t for me anyway

Depends on how much notice is given I am fine most nights, but I start work at 5:30 the next morning so won’t be a late night on weekdays.

I don’t tune my cars at all, so that definitely won’t be an issue with me lol.

I can't get on Fridays sadly.

As for late nights, if we do only 1 or 2 warm up laps we should be able to get in more racing easy, and have more fun before it gets late too. Less foreplay, more action giggitty.

I don't tune for AUF nights, in fact, I often forget the tracks I even set up for that night pffft heh..Wrong tyres too at time, just hit the accelerator hard and hope for the best.

It'd be like having a casual cricket match with your mates on Sunday where everyone has shorts and thongs on, and one mate turns up with full kit, pads, helmet and all ha ha ha, ya gotta rib him man..

I can't even remember who wins most races, too busy pissing myself from the many crazy moments within the races, usually whoever is lucky enough to escape the line, or the first corner carnage, has a good shot at victory hoohahah.

    An AUF Race in smilies.

Only tuning I do is top speed, and that's just an estimate of what I think is appropriate, not precise.

Did a 15 lap race last night with fuel and tyre wear in the 911 01. What a fun car. N400. Fast car but tail happy and twitchy.

I must admit I am less keen on the race cars. They simply require to much not fucking up. 1 mistake and it's over.

Yeah, I fell in love with Gran Turismo using normal cars around Seattle, mostly the Lancer Evo.

Race cars are neat too but that feeling of pushing a street car to it's limits and beyond is so satisfying.

I have one setup at Goodwood with N class cars, think it was for 10 laps.

Only taken the Shelby Cobra around there though, tyres went off at lap 6 and that final S-bend with the barrier was insane then ha ha.

N Class cars with tyre wear and damage, getting back to the pits like this.

Man, Top Secret is one of the most underrated comedies, seems like it is always left off lists, even spoof or parody film lists.

I first saw it a few years ago, I remember the scene where they were being attacked but were more concerned with breaking windows instead of firing back, made sure to do that in RDR2 heh, and when a couple tried to infiltrate as a cow, a bull gave one of them a nice "John Wayne " cowboy walk afterwards ha ha, many Pythonesque moments throughout.

Oh yeah Top Secret is way too underrated! I first saw it in the 90’s just after Naked Gun was released. So many classic moments and a pretty epic underwater fight scene.

About fricken time! I noticed last week wet tyres were an option, which at the time seemed strange as there was no wet track option.

The wet weather update should come out some time this week I think, so by Monday we should definitely be good to go for some rain action.

Some info on this week’s update from GTPlanet:

GT Sport’s Next Update Arrives This Week, Brings Cars, Tracks, and Rain

June 24, 2019 by Andrew Evans

It’s the end of the month soon and, as we’ve come to expect over recent months, that means it’s GT Sport update time.

An announcement on the game’s official website reveals that there’ll be an update following a server maintenance period on June 27. It reads as follows:

“At the following time, we will perform maintenance on the ‘Gran Turismo Sport’ servers. A new game update will also be available after the maintenance. Please note that during this time the online services, including [Sport Mode], will not be available.

    [Day & Time]
    27 June, 2019, 04:00 – 06:00 UTC

    * The above time is subject to change.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.”

The recent pattern has been for the end-of-month update to bring new content to the game. We’ve yet to see the usual, official update teaser from Kazunori Yamauchi, but the signs all point to this being quite the update.

The recent Gran Turismo World Tour event at the Nurburgring revealed a lot of things that we’d expect to arrive.

For starters, the game build featured four new vehicles: Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ’69, Renault Sport Clio V6 ’00, Toyota Sports 800 ’65, and Toyota Tundra TRD Pro ’19. Only the Camaro featured in the racing in Germany, so this may not be a complete list of the cars in the update; we’ll have to wait for Yamauchi’s silhouette Tweet to find out if there’s more.

There’s also a new track on its way. This “Sardegna Road Track” features three new race tracks to complement the dirt course of Sardegna Windmills. It featured heavily at the World Tour, including as the location for the last-gasp Nations Cup victory.

Possibly headlining the content though is a new wet weather condition mechanic. We’ve only seen this in action at the Red Bull Ring so far, so there are questions over how many tracks will get to experience rain — questions that this update will probably answer.

It’s likely that there’ll be some of the more usual update content. That’ll include new Scapes locations, new GT League events, and a Circuit Experience — which in this case would be for last month’s Goodwood Circuit.

We’ll bring you more information as we get it.
