I'm really bummed that I couldn't join you guys last night (I'm not well at the moment and had a massive headache).
I'd be super keen to be there for another one soon if anyone else is interested?

Thanks for organising Smajs, the races last night were a heap of fun, even the one where I didnít realise BoP was off and had 100 less horsepower than everyone else, which I think is the best test

I saved the replays so might chuck them up on YouTube late tonight. Iíll be doing the bare minimum though, so itíll just be the ĎTVí style replay with no editing, you can just keep an eye out for yourselves as you pass/lap me lol. On the bright side, youíll have evidence of all of the occasions when I shouldíve been black flagged for dangerous driving

Haha, that race was easily the best of the night! The chaos you kicked off was hilarious, there were cars literally pirouetting left and right

The only way that race couldíve ended any better wouldíve been if Elmo had charged through to take the win (and he wasnít far off it!).

Dragon Trail (N600). This was the best race, the carnage that gilly caused at the final chicane on the last lap was hilarious:

Autopolis (GT3). I didnít understand how the manual starts worked, so did a great job of jumping it lol:

Bathurst (F1500T-A). Iím still annoyed that they took my damn livery away, and that you canít change liveries anywhere but on the home screen garage. The final corner of the last lap was exciting:

Interlagos (GT4). This was the race where I didnít know that balance of power was turned off, so I was about 100hp down on the rest of the field. Pretty boring unfortunately, because the only time I saw other cars was when they spun off. But on the bright side, my car looks and sounds incredibly sexy (check out the drive by at 2:11):

Yeah was great fun as always.

Dragon Trail is up there with,

Brazilian Ronaldo from early Pro Evo Soccer.
    Arica Hartbour from BFBC2
The Headshot chirp from Killzone, or the MGS exclamation sound
    The PS1 startup sound,

As one of the most joyous things in gaming, something that instantly brings a smile to my dial at the mere thought of it.

Next time we should do an IRL race where we use our current, or previously owned real life cars, or at least the closest model available in game.

Might bring along an out of rego date hot pink and mustard hatchback, damn, my mates first car was an old Gemini,we hooned it up ha ha ha. Everyone else was in WRX's or Evo's and he was flexing so bad ha ha ha, man it had to be 25 plus years old fuck heheh, tape for a missing window.

I still recall when we went round to pick up my dad in it, by the first set of lights he was holding on to the ceiling handle for dear life ha.

Apologies for the no show gentlemen, my health is pretty ordinary especially at night. I'll keep trying to get to these events. Looked like a heap of fun.
Anyone else competing in the manufacture series?

Second race, The Ridge of Racing, street circuit of choice, Gr.B or Gr.4.

Third race, The Snake Bites, any open large and wide race track, Gr.1 cars.

    Goodwood is coming today.

A Shelby Cobra race or classic car race next AUF night would be fun.

Goodwood is damn fun in classic cars. Looks so simple but it's so easy to run off.

Also, I finally got this decal under 15kb..woo.

Twice now i've been a no show due to health.

Thanks for setting up and keep em going I pick this game up every week still loving it.

I have a beautiful setup for the McLaren F1 if anyone wants it. Tune down to N500 and Career mode premium race against N1000s with the payout being 240k for 12-20 minutes work. If you get the clean race bonus with the handicap.

Super formula wasn't enjoyable for me. I prefer the Red Bull.

Could not find a tune that was nice to drive.

    Goodwood is a nice track!

Classic fits well. Custom race with red bull junior works just as good.

I was thinking of getting back into this so I can have decent cars for our GT nights. My driving, I think we can all agree, is great but I am continually let down by sub par vehicular movement.

But, does a steering wheel make any difference to this game, and do I have to have a table for the wheel? That would be kinda annoying.

I reckon a good wheel could cut lap-times by up to maybe a second or more Elmo, you could always put it on the floor, I think some also have positions to fit your lap.

Personally though I don't use one because most of the AUF GT nights happen right after gym for me, and my arms are too tired to last 2 or more laps with a wheel, especially with force feedback ha ha.

The controller driving in this is very enjoyable anyway, only issue I have is R2 for accelerate won't go to 100% throttle for me unless I press it in with enough force to turn sediment into diamonds.

I have a couple of scenarios set up for whenever our next races are.

    Ford Vs Ferrari
1960's and earlier classics around Goodwood or Brands Hatch
    BYO Everyday drive
    Muscle car or truck bash
    Karts at Goodwood
    Gr.2 adventure of GP circuits

Use the analog sticks about 1/3 of the difference between control and wheel.

Well i have played a bit more of this yesterday. A wheel would be cool, but I donít think I could justify one for the amount I play.
