Yeah he seemed a bit bitter with getting the sack from Triple J and just some of shit management was trying to get him to do (like can 2 minutes to midnight my favourite part of the show) but when you start giving shit to management on air you kinda have to see it coming, although i thought he did say goodbye at the end when he played his band song but it was a while ago maybe that memory was stored with the weaker brain cells

At the moment the metal albums I'm listening to is -

    Lamb Of God - Sacrament
Machine Head - Unto The Locust
    Threat Signal - Self titled

I just finished watching the doco 'Metal Evolution' - if you're a metal fan I highly recommend watching this
(nevermind, it was already suggested on the previous page)

If your into deathcore, Thy Art Is Murder is Australia's biggest deathcore band. Brutal as hell and they put on a wicked show!

Currently listening to lots of The Ghost Inside and Hand of Mercy. Both awesome bands, especially HoM as they are Aussie

Search up "Putrefy The Living". These guys are a couple mates of mine and they're really awesome artists.

Sent from somewhere that isn't near my Laptop, or maybe it is, and I'm just lazy? Well, I'm using the AUF app.

My fav bands. Cavalera conspiracy, devil driver, tool, fear factory, Devine herecy, dry kill logic. Pantera, ramstien, korn (up to FTL), chavelle and soon many more. This list could triple easily. But cavalera conspiracy is my fav ATM. Get some Inflikted or must kill into you. Or even genghis khan

Those kids are very brave covering a DT song. They got very close to pulling it off, so much weight was on the girl singing LaBrie.

Doesn't look like the bassist is confident yet. He should be trying to rip the strings off, not pet them

Found this cover after seeing the teen cover. Take the Time is probably my fave DT song. This guy nails LaBries vocals.

Yeah, don't listen to the instruments. Just do it for the vocals. The opposite of death metal

Love my metal. Not a huge fan of thrash though. Love the awesome guitar rigs but get a bit sick of the cookie monster vocals. Some of my favorites are
    Disturbed
    Mettalica
    Mudvayne
    Stone sour
    Chevelle
    Deftones
    Katatonia
    Il Nino
    Egypt central
    Fear factory
    Kill switch enguage
    Godsmack
    Lacuna coil
    Opeth
    Nonpoint
    Rammstien
    Sevendust
    Shattesphere
    Spineshank
    Tool
    Steel panther

Hope it gives you some ideas.

Die Antwoord are class! They jumped on stage for some rapping/nonsense when Aphex Twin played Melbourne last year. I am very surprised to see them in a thread about metal though.
I don't listen to much metal, but I have a soft spot for Tool, Pantera, Carcass, Napalm Death, Slayer and Metallica. I'm no expert at all: a bit of a metal dunce/lightweight, to be honest.
If you would like to hear a truly frightening record, give Excavation by The Haxan Cloak a listen. Really loud, alone in the house late at night. (Shudders).
Oh, the Silent Hill soundtracks are no walk in the park either. Unless it was a horrible, terrifying park.

Tool, metallica, pantera, slipknot. Grew up watching Crusty Demons and then trying to emulate them. Lost count of how many times I've seen metallica live, and tool, well all I have to say is Maynard is a living musical genius.

Metallica! Can't tell you how many times I've played their songs on the drums. Must almost be a right of passage for teenage musicians.

I was a teenager when Kill Em All was released .. Much teenage memories hunched over a bong or hauling a slab listening to Mettalica or Megadeth.

I realise there are many forms of metal .. I'm not crazy about really black or death metal stuff but I have been found in a dark corner of the Brisbane Hotel on metal night in Hobart over the years and I really respect the sun culture I've got some very cool mates that play in metal bands in Hobart

I love Dragonforce now. i became addicted a few days ago, i love speed metal.

Although the band has frequently referred to their style as power metal, Herman Li (guitarist) commented on descriptions of the band's style in an interview with Guitar World: "'Nintendo metal', 'extreme power metal', 'Bon Jovi on speed', 'Journey meets Slayer', ... people are always coming up with weird labels for us." The band has sometimes been labeled as a speed metal band

Seriously though, they are a very heavy band from Australia. Have seen them in many times in clubs throughout Sydney. Fucking brutal gigs!
