I need some help from my PC wizardry friends. Went to pc yesterday morning & screens are blank. Only thing I can get to come up is the screen from Ctrl+alt+del & access task manager. I have had an error message come up for svchost.exe which in task manager shows a lot of them running.
I have googled & tried a lot of the recommendations but nothing works, was able to get chrome open & ran windows update tool which showed errors & fixed but still nothing. Have seen a windows update file for 5:33am yesterday morning so am suspecting this May be the culprit but have also had malware bytes deleted somehow as well. I have reinstalled & run twice with no infections, have restored to a few days ago but still have black screen. My pc is a HP 64 bit running Windows 10. Any ideas?

Do you have a graphics card or is it just the Intel graphics? Maybe try a fresh install of Windows 10? Anything saved on the HDD you need? Maybe try transfer it onto a external HDD then try a fresh Windows install.

I am assuming just basic intel one as it’s more of a business computer setup & yes has a heap of photos on that haven’t been put on or back up. As screens are blank it’s difficult to access stuff to transfer as it’s only task manager you can see then have to highlight services, right click & open location to launch but sometimes that only lasts one click & then freezes. Is there’s way to wind back windows update?
