I love dnb but hate dubstep.

It's all about the rythym and pace for me, not getting my jollies to deep bass

i dont like the heavy dirty bass im more into liquid dubstep and love something with a good tune like 'Clap' by Document One which is probably my favorite Dubstep Song and my favorite Drum n Bass song is 'Talkbox' by Dj Fresh and remixed by Camo and Krooked. I love them songs sooo much

I like Metal and Hardcore. You ain't seen hate till you listen to that.

But seriously, i don't mind a bit of dubstep. Some sounds like absolute horse shit but some songs are pretty good. Good to test your car's speakers out with too.

Dubstep sounds like one of those old printers with a few extra waub waubs.

I'm a massive fan of punk rock, mostly the late 90's thru early '00s.

I listen to fresh fm (thats a local station that plays all the dance music including said dub step) but only because I can't handle the commercial stations and I fucking hate triple j

I a fan of DnB and Dubstep, but not really what's referred to as Dubstep nowadays. I like most types, but tend to like the darker sounds. I'm not sure if the following is technically DnB, but here's an example -

You should have a listen to Mistabishi - Printer Jam (it's DnB though)

As far as DnB goes, you can't go past Prodigy.

This song is so good for driving with your speakers turned right up. LISTEN TO IT WITHOUT BANGING YOUR HEAD I DARE YOU!

Been listening to Noisia - Split the Atom. The album's got a mixture of genres, but this dnb track is awesome.

I posted this in a another forum - thought I'd repost it here -
this is the dubstep I use to listen to. It's not heavy or energetic like modern dubstep - very relaxed and mellow. Sort of like chillstep I guess.

AC23 - Dubbed Out Bitch Dubstep Mix - August 2006
    http://soundcloud.com/ac23/ac23-dubbed-out-bitch-august
(you can download the mp3 of that mix from that page)

    Warlock - Mutant Dubz
    http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16659
(a bit darker but still mellow dubstep)

try the album: Caspa & Rusko - Fabric live 37
(this was released around when dubstep started to become more popular)
(chillstep was a term someone else was using on that forum. I'd never really heard of the term until now)

    Definitely not my style.
I'm more into pretty much anything Liquicity and MrSuicideSheep upload. Liquicity's new channel 'Ridmics' is also good as well as 'SuicideSheeep'.
Can I change the title to Electronic Music?

Here is a couple random songs from my favorite YouTubers.

I am old and from England. While that isn't the best of starts in life, it does mean that I was at uni in London when Hardcore, Jungle and DnB started. I got to go to The Paradise Club at AWOL, Club Speed and The Ministry of Sound etc. From what I can remember, it was great! From that era, I love stuff like SL2, Photek, Omni Trio, Doc Scott etc.
Then I heard Squarepusher, Aphex Twin and Autechre, and that was that.
Nowadays I enjoy music by Four Tet, Pev, The Haxan Cloak, Pendle Coven, Untold, Pangaea etc: that sort of ex-Dubstep/ex-Bass Music stuff.
Oh, and I write my own shitty techno as Mr Worry. It's on soundcloud.com
If you give it a listen, please be kind. I do my best. It's not a great best, but it's the best I can manage.
